Discussion "Network 3rd Generation East"
In the context of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern's presidency of the Federal Council and the associated organization of the celebrations for the Day of German Unity on October 3, 2024 in Schwerin, the 3rd Generation East network invites you to a special event on October 10, 2024 from 7:00 p.m. at the Volkstheater Rostock.
The message: The generational change is underway. Wendekinder are taking on responsibility everywhere in the country: at work, in voluntary work, in politics and socially. The protagonists would like to discuss how the special socialization of growing up in two countries - the GDR and the FRG - shapes and influences people and what potential lies in this generation, which has been fragmented up to now.
The aim of the event is to activate the creative potential of those who stayed, emigrated and returned from this generation through a dialogical evening with an inspiring panel and interactive dialogue, accompanied by film sequences and music. The 3rd Generation East network would like to offer a platform for exchanging ideas, networking and becoming aware of the special historical and social backgrounds:
