First Friday of the month is movie time in Malchow
20,000 years before our time, during the last ice age: young Keda (Kodi Smit-McPhee) from the Solutrean culture, which was widespread in Western Europe at the time, goes hunting with a group, but the trip takes a bad turn when he falls into a ravine. Severely injured, Keda is left behind by his companions, who believe him to be dead. Surrounded by ice and snow, the young hunter tries to survive and get back home. He slowly tames a wolf that has been expelled from his pack. Soon the two are fighting for survival side by side, relying more and more on each other and surviving countless dangers together. But winter is approaching and Keda and the wolf must find their way home before then...
