Christmas and New Year customs in the Teterow region around 1900
Older rural customs at Christmas and at the turn of the year as well as bourgeois Christmas in the good parlors of the Teterow farmers and craftsmen around 1900 are the subject of this special exhibition.
Among other things, you can see new old toys that made children's eyes light up. The superstition that still prevailed in the Twelfth Age is also a theme.
The Schlaack family from Teterow kindly provided toys for the exhibition.
The Teterow City Museum will open its special exhibition for the 10th Teterow Advent Lights on December 1, 2023.
