Digital multivision show by and with Ralf Schwan

Challenges and adventure trips are the elixir of life for Ralf Schwan from Thuringia. On his expeditions, the track and field athlete and middle-distance runner seeks the sporting "kick" and often goes so far that it sometimes "hurts". Expeditions to Mount McKinley, the world's highest volcano, the Ojos del Salados (6,893 m) or Kilimanjaro are just some of his undertakings in recent years.Ralf Schwan wanted to travel to South America in 2021, but a virus intervened. A new destination within Europe was soon found: Bulgaria. Like a forgotten treasure, this country lies inconspicuously in the Eastern Balkans. Thracian, Roman, Ottoman and Slavic influences have left behind countless cultural traces, which can be found in abundance throughout Bulgaria. As a mountaineer, Ralf Schwan is drawn to lofty heights. His tour to the Seven Rila Lakes is just one highlight of the magnificent mountain regions. On foot, by train and by car through Bulgaria - Ralf Schwan introduces you to his insider tip! He shows the familiar, the new and the undiscovered with a mixture of impressive picture and video sequences, lively, colorful and exciting. Be part of the "Unknown Bulgaria" adventure!
