Brecht's words ring in our ears! His texts are excitingly topical, rousing and alarming - his songs are humorous and invigorating.
An evening of Brecht songs - a literary concert in the caricature exhibition "What a people". We ask ourselves the same question, and by that we mean the German people. What Brecht wrote ninety years ago rings in our ears!
"What times are these when talking about trees is almost a crime." Stimulating, powerful, thought-provoking, humorous, alarming, rousing, mocking - texts that are more relevant today than ever. This evening, which is not ONLY depressing, was created in honor of Brecht, the great lyricist and playwright of the 20th century. He would have turned 125 on February 10 last year, unfortunately he was not even granted half of those years. But his literature remains alive, and we will make sure of that.
Benjamin Saupe and Hedwig Golpon wish you good entertainment.
