Alba Armengou is an exceptional talent: at the age of seven she became a member of the world-famous "Sant Andreu Jazz Band" from Barcelona, which she belonged to for thirteen years. Several stars have emerged from this prestigious and renowned jazz school, including Andrea Motis and Rita Payés.

During her time with the "Sant Andreu Jazz Band", she deepened her understanding of the world of jazz and was able to develop her talent on the trumpet and as a singer. At the age of 21, she has already contributed to more than 30 albums.

In 2020, she released her first solo album "Susurros del Viento" together with guitarist Vicente López. In this album, she combined different musical styles that have shaped her artistic path and were strongly influenced by Latin American and Brazilian music.

For the first time in Güstrow, Alba Armengou takes us on an exciting musical journey. She draws inspiration from boleros, the Catalan cançó, bossa nova, Latin and jazz.
