Book premiere & poetry reading as well as discussion with the publisher & subsequent visit to the exhibition "Romanticism today?" as part of the 23rd Ahrenshooper Literaturtage
Caspar David Friedrich turns 250 - reason to celebrate, but also reason enough to take a fresh look at some of the icons of Romanticism he created. Anne Martin and Dirk Uwe Hansen have therefore asked contemporary poets to do just that and write poems for, against or with Caspar David Friedrich's paintings.
A selection of the diverse texts that emerged is collected in a freshly printed anthology (Reinecke & Voß Herbst 2024), which will be presented on the occasion of the Ahrenshooper Literaturtage. Celina Spieth, the curator of the exhibition "Romanticism today?", will talk to the editor Dirk Uwe Hansen and present the anthology together with the authors.
Admission: 30 minutes before the event
