70 talented teenagers and a young, rousing live band on stage: the audience can expect a very special event with the musical PETRUS - THE APOSTLE - expressive songs, touching theater scenes and creative show elements. The play will be performed by 45 project choirs at 180 locations across Germany in 2024.
Fear, persecution and violence have become the norm for Christians since Jesus is no longer with them. But in the midst of persecution, they experience the unbelievable: The church is growing, they are experiencing miracles and more people are professing faith in Jesus every day. But the passionate Peter senses that his mission goes beyond the city walls of Jerusalem. The whole world should hear the good news! So he sets off on an exciting and world-changing journey...
An Adonia musical with a captivating insight into the history of the origins of the Christian community. But it's about more than just looking back at that time, because, shockingly, the topic has lost none of its topicality to this day. A young live band and 70 talented teenagers are sure to make this evening unforgettable.
Adonia e.V. is a non-profit organization based in Karlsruhe. A full-time team coordinates the musical camps and recruits and trains the approximately 1,000 volunteers who run the camps.
Adonia is an independent Christian youth organization that works closely with regional and free churches. Its work is financed by camp fees, donations and collections at the concerts.
