Information and discussion with the head of the building authority Dr. Raith on the development of the old town of Stralsund
Once again this year, we would like to hold a public discussion with the Head of the Office for Planning and Construction of the Hanseatic City of Stralsund, Dr. Frank-Bertholt Raith, on the building activities in the old town. The main topics for us include
- What is the current status of the redesign of the Neuer Markt?
- Is the MobiHUB coming - if so, when and what will it look like?
- In August 2023, the trees were felled in Quartier 33 (Böttcherstr. - Jokobiturmstr. - Paenstr. - Filterstr. area). What is the status of the land sales? When will development begin?
- A "Roter Netto" is to move into the former Wertheim department store (Ossenreyerstrasse 8-10). What is the status here? What are the plans for the hotel?
- The former main post office at Neuer Markt 4 no longer exists. The building complex is a listed building (No. 594 on the list of monuments). What will become of the property? Who is the owner?
