From March 22 to 24, 2024, we invite you to the 23rd North German Nature Photography Days in beautiful Waren an der Müritz. The friendly photo festival of the north offers many exciting lectures in the Bürgersaal, again ranging from regional to international. The Mecklenburg Lake District is the ideal starting point for our workshops and excursions.
The polar fox as the leitmotif of the Nature Photo Days was created by Florian Smit.
Florian writes: The morning is dawning and I have been lying in the damp dew that has formed on the low vegetation of the highlands for some time now. Two days in a row I have been able to observe a small Arctic fox in this environment. A shadowy outline slowly forms out of soft contours. Behind a stone to my right, I recognize a movement. The Arctic fox, which I had already seen on previous days, scurries past me and pauses briefly.
At the photo market (admission free), all exhibitors are available for advice and extensive product testing. From the latest cameras and lenses to bags, tripods, accessories of all kinds and photo trips, everything is there. The Check + Clean Service will also be available again (Saturday + Sunday only). The service is free of charge and limited to two Canon cameras per visitor.
This year, every holder of a 3-day ticket once again has the opportunity to take part in our photo competition and win attractive prizes. More detailed information can be found in the program booklet and on the homepage.
Access to the lecture program in the Bürgersaal is accessible and easy for wheelchair users or parents with baby carriages.
