65 years - younger than ever!
It all began in 1959 with 12 young people and the title "Brothers, to the sun, to freedom". Since then, the association can look back on an eventful history with highs and lows. Today, after 65 years, the orchestra has a new lease of life and is particularly pleased with the many young musicians who are enthusiastic about this genre. And when young and old make music together, energy meets experience and combines to create a sound that is as powerful as it is soulful. This will be celebrated in a special way at the 65th anniversary on November 3, 2024 in the Neukloster town hall.
Fittingly, the orchestra has invited guest conductor Patrick Alexander Hollich , principal clarinettist in the Hamburg Philharmonic State Orchestra and, in addition to his career in the classical repertoire, the young musician is also following in the footsteps of his famous father, Prof. Anton Hollich, with the Egerländer Musikanten. Together with him, the Klasbachtaler celebrate brass music, which knows no age, genre, national or other boundaries. Whether Bohemian-Moravian music, folk music from Mecklenburg or the latest from the brass music scene - it is simply universal and unifying - what counts is heart and soul!
Then the dance floor is opened. Singing, dancing and swinging are expressly encouraged. As always, there will also be plenty of food and drink and a hearty snack.
Tickets are available for 10 euros at the following advance booking offices:
