Andreas Wegscheider, who has owned the BUNTEN STUBE since 1984, provides an insight into the long history of the establishment.
Since its opening on June 8, 1922, the BUNTE STUBE in Ahrenshoop has been run by the fourth generation of the Wegscheider family as a store offering books, arts and crafts, fashion, natural products, jewelry, paintings and graphics all year round. Regional publications have appeared in the BUNTE STUBE publishing house, and artists and craftspeople have been presented to the public in a small art cabinet for decades, the number of which has already exceeded 100.
Andreas Wegscheider, who has owned the BUNTE STUBE since 1984 and has since passed it on to his son, provides an insight into the long history of this unique institution, which has shaped the town of artists both then and now.
