After the death of their father, siblings Nicola and Philipp find themselves in his house to liquidate his belongings together. The unbelievable happens. Philipp's wife Judith finds a painting in the attic whose creator actually appears to be Adolf Hitler.
But what to do with such a find? Destroy the "Nazi art", or is it perhaps morally justifiable to sell the painting for a lot of money?
A dispute breaks out and the "brown soup" unexpectedly spills over into Nicola and Philipp's family history.
