Clear water, miles of endless beaches and many hours of sunshine - sun worshipper will love Mecklenburg-Vorpommern's beaches.

Darßer Western beach

According to a survey, the Darßer Western beach on the peninsula of Fischland-Darß-Zingst is among the top 20 of the most striking beaches in the world.

Hiddensee

More than 13 km of beach can be found on the car-free island of Hiddensee next to the isle of Rügen.

Usedom

Usedom's fine sand beach is 42 km long and up to 60 m wide.

Warnemünde

The seaside resort of Warnemünde belonging to the Hanseatic town of Rostock has the broadest sandy beach with up to 150 m.

Juliusruh - Glowe

The white sandy beach at the bay between Juliusruh and Glowe in the north east of Rügen has a length of 10 km.
