- Christmas markets
November to December | Traditional delicacies, mulled wine, handicrafts and fairground rides. North Germany‘s largest Christmas market in Rostock; lovingly decorated stands and vividly coloured carousels between the brickwork facades in Stralsund and Wismar. In Schwerin you can even saunter leisurely until New Year‘s Eve. Small towns and manor houses put on their own Christmas markets at advent weekends to attract droves of visitors.

The Müritz Saga in Waren (Müritz) offers great open air theatre, also the Baltic Sea Festival in Stralsund and Greifswald, the Vineta Festival on Usedom or the Pirate Open Air in Grevesmühlen.
