The 8 Brocades, Baduanjin, are among the oldest Qigong exercises practiced in Germany. They are quite easy to learn - and despite their simplicity, they are very effective. Physically, they affect the muscles and ligaments as well as the spine, promoting stability and flexibility. They also help to relax, reduce stress and have an excellent effect on coordination.
They have a particularly soothing effect on neck, shoulder and back pain. They can also improve respiratory, cardiovascular and digestive function, have a calming effect on our psyche and strengthen our ability to concentrate.
The course begins on Friday evening at 6 p.m. with a communal dinner and ends on Sunday at noon.
