The Fischlandhaus is a listed high-ceilinged house in Neue Straße.
In Prerow, photographer, gallery owner and journalist Ekkehart Nupnau opened a new gallery for art and photography at Waldstraße 7 in June 2022. The focus of his exhibitions throughout the year is the multi-talented Armin Mueller-Stahl.

The Prerow church, built from 1726 - 1728 in the so-called Swedish period under pastor Martin Henrici, is a brick hall church with a wooden steeple from 1727. It served as a landmark for seafaring, as the Prerow stream was open to the sea side, allowing access to the harbor and the Bodden waters.

In 1288, the elaborately designed brick building of the church is said to have been completed. The church consists of a choir, nave and tower. It was built on a foundation of neatly hewn granite blocks.
