Hotel Ostseeländer is located in a beautiful park and has individually furnished rooms. Despite its quiet location, the ideal starting point for (almost) all activities. The cuisine is characterized by regionality and products from our own organic cultivation.

Opened in 2011, our Hotel Ostseeländer is invitingly located in beautiful pre-Pomeranian countryside, between the Peene Valley, the University and Hanseatic City of Greifswald and the Island of Usedom. 23 rooms are equipped with private bathroom, TV, telephone as well as free WLAN and are non-smoking rooms. All rooms offer a wonderful view over the park.
In the restaurant "Parkblick" you will be served meals prepared from regional products and products from our own organic cultivation, not only for breakfast.
Five multifunctional conference rooms are the ideal venue for your successful meeting or seminar. All conference rooms are at ground level and have access to the park.
We also have the ideal rooms for family celebrations, whether for a birthday or wedding reception.
Free parking is available sufficiently and free of charge at the hotel.
The ICE train station Züssow is only 10 min walk away. We are also happy to organize a shuttle for you.

The Caspar-David-Friedrich-Zentrum, opened in 2004 in the historic Seifensiederei and expanded in 2011 to include the entire former residential and commercial building of the Friedrich family, commemorates the great painter and greatest son of the city of Greifswald. It is also a museum, documentation and research center. Caspar David Friedrich was born here on September 5, 1774.

Surfspot Loissin

You can reach the spot via the campsite, where you can also take a shower and, of course, pitch your tent. Beginners will find a large standing area in Loissin. Experienced surfers will be happy about the fantastic shallow water conditions. The spot works with wind from west to northeast.

Greifswald barrage

The development of the town of Greifswald began with the founding of Hilda Monastery. The town was first mentioned in a document in 1248 and received its town charter in 1250. The market square is the heart of the historic old town. Caspar David Friedrich painted the market square with a view of the Ratsapotheke and part of the town hall as a watercolor - on display in the Pomeranian State Museum.

Greifswald museum shipyard

Ludwigsburg Palace

The Renaissance palace Ludwigsburg was built between 1577 and 1592 as a widow's seat for Hedwig Sophie von Pommern-Wolgast. After her death in 1631 the palace changed hands several times until it was sold to the Greifswald merchant Weissenborn in 1810.
