The starting point of the Poel tour is Fährdorf. It is best to arrive by car and use the parking lot at the entrance to Fährdorf. North of Gollwitz is the uninhabited, protected island of Langenwerder. A visit to the island is prohibited, but the beautiful view of the nature reserve is well worth it.

In the harbor you will find delicious fish rolls fresh from the cutter.
Tip: Bicycles can be rented in Alt Farpen from Olaf Reinike just outside the gates of the island of Poel.
